Grand Lodge Of Pennsylvania
HOW TO USE OUR COLLECTIONS
The Masonic Library and Museum of Pennsylvania borrowing privileges are extended only to Pennsylvania Masons. However, all are welcome to come to the Library and Museum and access our materials in our reading room.

FOR ALL WHO ARE INTERESTED
IN OUR COLLECTIONS

This is a research catalogue for the entire Library collection, not just the Circulating Library. Eventually it will include the Museum and Archives collections, and is a work in progress, being updated daily. Use the link, below, to find items that are in our collections, and then you can make arrangements to come to the Library and Museum to see them and review them for your own research. Search the Masonic Library and Museum of Pennsylvania Online Catalogue.

OUR CIRCULATING LIBRARY IS
FOR PENNSYLVANIA MASONS ONLY

One of the features of The Masonic Library and Museum of Pennsylvania is the Circulating Library, established in 1952. This service was designed to promote Masonic education and inspiration by the dissemination of Masonic literature among the members of lodges in the Jurisdiction of Pennsylvania.

To request an item from the Circulating Library online catalog, you may access the list of available items from the Rules and Regulations Page.

This catalogue represents only those materials which may be borrowed; just a small fraction of the over 70,000 volumes in the Library.

Please note: some books are also available in seven satellite (regional) libraries. Those titles are indicated by an S. Please go in person to borrow from them.

The Masonic Library and Museum of Pennsylvania, located on the first floor of the Masonic Temple, Philadelphia, is open on Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. It is closed on Sundays and some legal holidays.

On June 7, 1817, the
Grand Lodge of Free
and Accepted Masons
of Pennsylvania
established a Masonic
Library. In 1908, the
equally famous and
unique Museum was
established.
