The Mighty Fifth District is proud to present Unlocking the Light: A Masonic Speakers’ Event on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the state-of-the-art Kennett Library Auditorium. We have confirmed three distinguished speakers for this event.

Tickets are only $40, which includes access to the speakers, a continental breakfast and lunch served at the library. This event is open to all Master Masons.

️Parking: Available in the library lot, on the street and at the public parking facility in the center of town.

Dress Code: Business Casual

Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued after May 15, 2025

Speakers and Topics

Brother Chris Ruli – “Brother Lafayette”
Brother Ruli is a historian and researcher specializing in early American Freemasonry. He is the author of The “White House & the Freemasons” and “Brother Lafayette.” He currently serves as the Assistant Grand Historian of the Supreme Council, 33°, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, Southern Jurisdiction.

Brother Moises Gomez – “Freemasonry and the Underground Railroad”
Brother Gomez is the Grand Historian of the Grand Lodge of New Jersey. A well-traveled Masonic lecturer, he has delivered presentations in 29 U.S. states and internationally, educating Masonic communities on historical and esoteric topics.

Brother Dr. Michael E. Ludwig, PhD – “Esoteric Freemasonry: Myth and Meaning”
Dr. Ludwig is a renowned Masonic scholar, specializing in Esoteric Freemasonry, Rosicrucianism and Masonic psychology. He is a Fellow of the Grand College of Rites, a Master Masonic Scholar with the Pennsylvania Academy of Masonic Knowledge, a Scottish Rite Hauts Grades Academic and an approved speaker with the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania’s Speaker’s Bureau.
