On December 27, 2015, Bro. Emilio V. Sforza, District Deputy Grand Master of the 27th Masonic District, assisted by Bro. John L. Coulter, III, Worshipful Master, and the officers and members of Kiskiminetas Lodge No. 617 F. & A.M., Vandergrift, PA, was honored to present the Samuel Davis Bequest award to the family of the late Edwin L. Barclay, PM. Presented on behalf of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. The monies presented will be used for educational expenses for the Barclay children.

The Samuel Davis Bequest is one of the lesser known philanthropic endeavors of the Grand Lodge of Pennsylvania. Established in the early 1900’s, the bequest funds assistance to the minor children of deceased Master Masons. If you know of a family of a deceased Pennsylvania Mason that is in need, please contact our Outreach program for more information.
